Inspirational Collections from around the World ::: Featured Collection Barbara Benjamin -New York, USA "The Face of God" | Face to Face (1998) I looked into the face of God, And He looked back at me, And what I saw reflected there Was more than dreams could be.
I stood before the throne of God, Resplendent, filled with light, And found my soul, a glimmering In His eternal sight.
I knelt before the crucifix, Where death and life are one, And found my true reality, The Father in the Son.
I walked away, alone and free, My visions as my guide, The Spirit of the Holy Ghost, The Triune God inside. | The Encounter (3/2/2008)
I’ve had a glimpse of heaven; I’ve seen the light of God; There’s nothing now can keep me here Except my Shepherd’s rod, Corralling me to stay the course, Encounter Love in me, Release that Love to do His work, To set His children free.
The wisdom of the sages Forbids our eyes to see The Glory of the Living Truth, Lest we prefer to flee From earthbound mindless darkness To where we consciously Live openly, in full bathed Joy, Through all eternity.
That wisdom, it burns through my heart: A bleating, wounded lamb, I thrash about uncomfortably, Left here just as I am, To do all that I’m called to do, Though I now ache to be Beyond the veil, where I have seen My soul’s home destiny. |

"Trinity Released" | The Light of the World
They celebrate dawn;
They herald the night:
These feathered creatures
In their noisy flight.
Day means more to them
Than ever to me;
It must be that they
See more than I see.
Man wanted to fly;
Today, that's a cinch;
But he flies a plane;
Ah, that is the pinch.
He still cannot fly
Alone on the wind;
Perhaps that's because
He feels he has sinned.
Perhaps that's because
He really can't see
The light of the world
That sets the birds free. |
